Vintage Hall's Ceramic Orange Sun Dial Covered Casserole Dish measuring 11"W x 5"H. Bottom stamped Hall's Superior Quality Kitchenware, Made in USA, 2. The lid is in the shape of a sundial. A beautifully crafted piece, in good condition. There are two flaws on one side of the dish. One is a white speck that is a manufacturing flaw in the paint. The second white speck is a tiny chip. See pictures for details. The inside is an off white color. It has a little hole in the lid to release the steam. The sides are crafted with a neat step pattern, thrown back to the Art Deco time period. It has a nice weight to it and would look nice on a shelf in the kitchen to add some color, a great conversation piece for the table or dinner party.
