Add a touch of vintage charm to your home with this set of two Victorian porcelain boudoir table lamps. 1940s working porcelain Victorian figural lamps, often referred to as "courting couple lamps". Features porcelain figurines of a man and a woman in Victorian or Colonial-era attire at their base. They include gold gilding and hand-painted accents on the porcelain figures. There is substantial paint loss on the heads.
The shades bell-shaped in light blue pleated paper & accented in an ornate yarn trim. They are faded, very fragile and broken in several places. See pictures for details.
Made in Japan in the 1940s, stamped on the bottom. The electrical cords are in good condition. The brown cord is a replacement cord and that's why the cords are different colors.
They turn on/off with push button on column. In great vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks, only paint loss from wear.
Measures 13" tall & 7 1/2" wide with lamp shade.
