This is an antique cast iron still coin bank of Mutt & Jeff; 2 comic characters who started their lives in 1907 created by Al Smith who drew them for nearly 50 years.
They measure approximately 2 1/2"L x 2"W × 5"H. "MUTT" is stamped on the bottom left of the box, and "JEFF" is stamped on the bottom right. The coin is put inside Jeff's side.
This is in good condition for its age. There is significant signs of oxidation but has wonderful patina. See pictures for details.
