Antique handcrafted copper kettle from solid copper in a traditional teapot form with a swiveling handle that mounts to the body with hand-hammered copper rivets. The flapper over the spout is still functional. The stamp “KD” is embossed at the base of the handle near the spout. I was unable to identify the age and maker by the stamp. The lid is brass and is a tight fit with a small gap that is minor - see pictures for details. I don’t believe the lid is original to the kettle, but I bought it and selling it as. Copper has some dings and wear that is normal for its age and adds character to this beautiful piece. Kettle recently polished and is stunning, complimenting any collection. Measures approximately 12” H with handle up x 14.5” W x 10.5” D and weighs 4.4 pounds.
