Antique L.E. Smith Co. glass piece, “Dog By Barrel” c. 1912. On the bottom of the glass barrel it reads "L.E. SMITH CO. NET WT 1 1/2 OZ". I would consider the piece a coin bank, due to the slot in the top lid, but have seen it referenced elsewhere as a candy container. This bank still has a good amount of the original paint on the dog, as well as having the original barrel lid. The lid has a dent on the top. See pictures for details of condition.
