Vintage Philco Transitone dark brown Bakelite radio. Classic rounded shape, louvers with orange numerals & letters on glass sliderule.
Cabinet dimensions: 15 1/2"W x 9 1/2"H x 8 1/2" D and weighs just under 11 pounds. The case has no hairline cracks, but has some scratches. Still has a great sheen and the orange numerals & letters are pristine.
The gold lettering above the 4 knobs is worn. When turned on, it does NOT work, nor does the slider rule light up. The tuner dial does operate back and forth as it should. See pictures for details.
Perfect restoration project for the radio enthusiast.
