Vintage Crosley five tube radio in an ivory colored Bakelite case with gold grill. The "Duette" model is known for having a symmetrical design on both the front and back. This version is the scarcer Ivory color as most were were made in Maroon. This radio is prone to damage due to its sleek design that makes it prone to tipping. This radio has none of the usual cracks or chips that plague many of these radios.
The caps and cord have been replaced. The middle button is not original and does not do anything to operate the radio. It works and the light is faint but comes on. There are worn areas, minor scratches and some cloudiness on the right side of the plastic cover over dial numbers. See pictures and video for details. Made in the USA in 1946 measures 8½h × 11¼W x 5d inches, weighs 5.8 pounds.
